BRIG. GEN. LLOYD TILGHMAN 1816-1863
May 16, 1863 Gen. Tilghman was killed at the battle of Bakers Creek in Hinds County, MS. His body was brought to Vicksburg and he was buried in Thomas Folkes family plot at Cedar Hill Cemetery Vicksburg, MS.
1901 Gen. Tilghman's body was removed from Cedar Hill per his children and re interred at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bronx, New York.

BRIG. GEN. ISHAM WARREN GARROTT 1816-1863
June 17, 1863 Gen. Garrott was killed in the trenches at Vicksburg, MS and his body was buried in the flower garden at Finney Plantation originally known as Lonewood Vicksburg, MS.
1900 A letter from Mrs Garott to her Daughter in Law stated that Gen. Garrott's body was still buried at Finney Plantation
1903 A letter from E.W. Pettus to W.T. Rigby with the VNMP stated that he was part of the burial detail for Gen. Garrott and that he was buried at Finney Plantation

BRIG. GEN. MARTIN EDWIN GREEN 1815-1863
June 27, 1863 Gen. Green was killed in the trenches at Vicksburg, MS and his body was buried in George Marshall's family plot in Cedar Hill Cemetery Vicksburg, MS.
1905 A wooden grave marker still marked Gen. Green's burial location in the Marshall plot. Around this same time at the Missouri UCV convention a committee was formed and funded with intentions to act on the removal of 4 MO Confederate Generals ,Green, Bowen, Slack, Little.

MAJ. GEN. JOHN STEVENS BOWEN 1830-1863
July 13, 1863 Gen. Bowen died at John Walton's House also known as The Carnes Place southeast of Edwards MS and his body was buried in their garden.
1887 The Ladies Confederate Cemetery Association had Gen. Bowen's body removed from Mr J.W. Ratliff's home the former Walton home southeast of Edwards, MS and re interred next to Maj. Richardson's plot in the Confederate Cemetery now known as Soldiers Rest at Cedar Hill Cemetery Vicksburg, MS.
1907 Gen. Bowen's body was removed per his children and placed in the City Vault for transport back to Missouri. After a week he had not been transported and it is presumed he was re interred once again in the same location by Maj. Richardson's plot.
2026 Buried in Soldiers Rest, exact location is unknown at this time.
